Frames 1 & 2: The Femininja outfit is basically a black lycra suit made by me, with a latex face mask. Allegra, a genetic girl, again plays her.
Frame 3: Beginning with this shot, the rest of the pictures composited electronically. In this shot, I'm actually sitting in my garage. The background was added later.
Frame 4: This alley shot was one of the last things I photographed. Normally it is easier to shoot the background plates first and then match the angle with the actors afterwards. Here, I had to duplicate the action from the angle in my garage. To achieve the right height I had to stand on the bumper of Lauren's car as it sat in the alley.
Frame 5: The door was heavily modified from the original photograph. Getting the perspective of the lettering on the wall was a bit of challenge, as was getting the proper shape for the thought balloons.
Frame 6: The plates for the back of the nightclub were actually shot in a warehouse, with the Femininja and the mask composited in later. She is strapping on a latex Treasure Chest as part of the Goth Girl costume seen in the next frame.
Frames 7 & 8: These nightclub shots were taken one afternoon in Seattle when no one was around (don't tell them we were there!). In these shots, both Goth Girl and the Husband were played by Kerry, shot separately and composited into the sequence.
